Kia ora. I'm Kathie Rifle, a Māori Education and Cultural Consultant with a doctoral degree (PhD) in Māori and Indigenous Education located in the Waikato region. I look forward to sharing with you the variety of ways in which I can help you to make a difference in the education of Māori students in Aotearoa no matter where you are located. Whether you are a school, an early childhood education provider, a tertiary provider, an alternative education provider, a parent, an iwi or hapū representative, a student, or somebody who works with rangatahi Māori/Māori youth, or with Māori Deaf or Hard of Hearing learners, then I look forward to working with you to promote success for Māori students of all ages.

My areas of specialty in the education sector include implementation of Ka Hikitia - the National Māori Education Strategy, weaving Mātauranga Māori into classroom practice, and Te Reo Māori for beginners.

I also provide cultural training opportunities, including cultural supervision, tikanga training, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi training to schools, businesses and government organisations.

Noho Ora, Māori Education Consultancy's health education arm, provides a wide range of services in promoting hauora/health and wellbeing across the four dimensions of Te Whare Tapa Wha.
